Meet at the Canoe Beach parking lot.
U10: Introduction to ski striding. Wear running shoes and bring ski striding poles (come up to mid-bicep), water bottle/carrier. Practice time 10:00-11:30am.
U12: Roller skiing and ski striding. Please bring waterbottle/carrier, combi/skate ski boots, helmet, high vis vest/shirt, gloves, skate poles for rollerskiing and ski striding poles (mid bicep -point of shoulder height). If you have rollerski pole tips for use on payment that is great but ok if not.
U14: We will be doing a run, jump, pull testing event followed by a fun game of road hockey with the Devo group. Please bring a hockey stick. Athletes who do not wish to play hockey can bring a frisbee for disc golf.
U16/18: Running and Ski Striding. Be sure to bring running attire, striding poles and water.
Recreation (Devo): Be prepared for kayaking and running. You can bring your own kayak and life jacket if you have one. Bring a hockey stick for road hockey if you have one. There will be extra sticks there if you don’t have one.
