Please proceed directly to the meeting place for your group and practice physical distancing at all times. Bring your own water bottle and carrier, lunch and all equipment needed for the day.
U10: Meet in the playground area. Please bring ski striding poles (old classic poles work, please label with a name), running shoes, extra clothes for layering and a light rain coat. Everyone will need snacks a lunch and water. We will be doing some work on the ground, so please bring a towel or yoga mat for those exercises. Our practice will run from 10:00am- 2:00pm. Coaches will be available for questions from 2:00pm- 2:30pm if needed.
U12: Meet on the beach. Be sure to bring the following equipment for the day: Skate or combi boots, skate roller skis if you have them, running shoes, skate poles with appropriate tips if you have them, a helmet (athletes will not be allowed to participate in the roller skiing without one), ski striding poles (classic length poles). Be sure to pack a lunch and snacks and a water bottle. It is a good idea to send a few layers and dry clothes if the weather is looking unpredictable.
U14: Meet in the rollerski agility parking area. 2007 and 2008 athletes will be skate rollerskiing. Please bring a helmet, poles with carbide tips, gloves, high visibility vest/shirt, skate boots and rollerskis. Please also bring ski striding poles and runners.
U16+: Meet by the boat ramp. Bring skate rollerski equipment and ski striding poles
Devo: We will be meeting at the bottom of the Bastion Forestry road between 9:30 and 10am. At 10 am wWe will hike from there to Herald’s. If your family is headed to Herald’s they can drop you off on the way. We will have lunch at Herald’s park, After lunch we will be going for a bike ride.
