CARPOOL for this event
So far Sovereign does not have enough snow to officially open for Saturday. They have however been packing their trails and conditions are quite good. We will take the older groups to Sovereign. The younger groups will stay in town for dryland.
Peewees and Bantams: Meet at Klahani Park for dryland practice.
Bantams - Bring hill bounding poles.
Midgets and Juveniles: Meet in the snowmobile parking lot at Sovereign Lake. (The gate into Sovereign lodge will be closed as will the lodge itself. There will be no facilities available. You will not need to purchase a trail pass.) We will be classic skiing. Rock (old) skis recommended. Arrive early enough to grip wax your skis and test them before 10 am start. We will be able to ski directly from the parking area onto the Sovereign trails with no need to walk up to the snow. They have packed quite a bit of their trail system and the skiing is quite nice! :)
Midgets/Juveniles who cannot attend practice at Sovereign can join Phil's group at Klahani Park. Bring a hockey stick if you have one.
