Items to bring to the Herald Park training day:
Work out clothes for the weather, runners, a change of clothes as they might get wet.
Yoga mat or towel
Lunch and Snacks
Water bottle
Ski striding poles
Ski Striding Poles should be come up to mid-chest (base of sternum). It is important to have the right height or the kids will not be able to do the technique properly.
They should be xc ski poles, downhill poles are not appropriate.
We will need some help with the orienteering from parents between 10:15 am and 11:30 am. We like to send the groups out with an adult so they are supervised and make it back on time.
